Thanks for an incredible performance. The hot wind of the desert just before sunset was the perfect complement to this energetic, sonorous, and otherworldly performance. Moments into the start of the show, I noticed several attendees had been moved to tears. Yes, it was that kind of performance – a truly religious experience.
Last comment /agree completely. BEST BEST BEST visuals i ever had about heaven, I need to know what that god song was! I was moved by this show deeply.
I just found out the last song was ‘Grow till tall’ but it sounded completely different from album version so I didn’t realized it till now. how amazing. I could feel he put all the energy into it. I wanna live forever in that moment.
this concert changed my life, i have long since been a fan of sigur ros but have never had a chance to see them live. now i get why people say they’re cathartic experiences, today i feel slapped by the reality that exists outside of this album and i’m saddened by how ugly it is.
i truly think everyone should see jonsi in concert.
I cried while watching this performance at Coachella, and even have tears in my eyes thinking about it a day later. Jonsi was the last performance I saw before I left for home on the last day, and it was a perfect ending to a perfect weekend.
Absolutely incredible.
As I was making my way out of the crowd during the last two songs, I noticed people meditating there in the crowd on the grass! It was an amazing, spiritual, moving experience and I will remember it forever.
Your performance was amazing and it left such a great impression on me. you are truly talented and your music is so beautiful. Thank you for playing coachella you had one of the best performances of the weekend. I even saw you walking through the crowd with your band before the gorillaz went on we yelled out to you and you smiled. you seem so humble and sweet hope your tour goes well and hopefully i’ll get a chance to see you perform again one day :)
Damn! I really want a bootleg of this concert then if that last song sounded completely different. Seriously, I just walked where the music took me and Jonsi picked me up and showed me what heaven was like. I will never forget it… ever.
Incredible incredible performance. I agree with the others; the last song was definitely the most powerful live performance I’ve ever seen. Jonsi’s voice is amazing!
What I wonderful show! I drove up from Oklahoma to see your performance and it was well worth it. The last song grew till tall I had goosebumps and tears in my eyes. Thank you!
This performance was the best performance of Coachella 2010. Thank you so much for bringing such a great energy to an already energetic crowd and blowing us all away with your amazing music.
My love and I laid on the soft earth at Coachella. We looked upon the pale blue sky as the sun kissed the desert mountains surrounding the valley. We listened to the voice of an angel and weeped to the angelic tones of that perfect performance. This moment will always be embedded in our souls and bring love to our hearts. We as the community that saw you perform thank you for this entheogen experience.
I never heard of Jonsi and decided to check him out while finishing my pepperoni pizza and over priced gyro. While I had indigestion, after the performance, his soothing voice calmed my aching colon. He is a Godsend — a natural healer and I will forever remember him. Who needs Tums when you can listen to Jonsi! So much better than that surprise appearance from Beyonce. Love ya, Jonsi!
I’ve been a fan of Sigur Ros for years. I didn’t know who “Jonsi” on the Coachella lineup was until I was on my way to the show. Once I found out I made sure I was in the front of the outdoor stage.
I now prefer the music by Jonsi over Sigur Ros hands down – it is upbeat, colorful and spiritual.
Jonsi’s performance at Coachella was a suprise and became the highlight of the entire festival for me!
i didn’t know anything about jonsi or sigur ros but after coachella, i’ve become a big fan. jonsi, your music and singing goes beyond this realm. i was really touched by your music and vocals. i hope i have a chance to see you live again. blessings and thank you.
Jonsi – Your performance made my Coachella. No question. The entire experience and all three days of the festival were incredible, but your set literally brought me to tears. Your vocal ability cannot be described with mere words, but if I tried, I think it would lend itself to adjectives such as angelic, unearthly and radiant. Your performance made time stand still and was so much more than I could have ever imagined. I can’t wait to see you in Oslo this summer then in 2011 when Sigur Ros comes back to the States. Thanks for signing my album and taking a few minutes to speak to my friend and I … your music will continue to be the ongoing soundtrack to my world travels. Takk… Erika
After seeing Jonsi for the first time, I can honestly say the feeling I get out of his music is very rare. I’ve been going to live concerts for over 30 years and I only experienced it 2 other times, Todd Rundgrens Utopia and Radiohead. I was in another world for a moment and it felt good. Thanks for the positivity. Life is unusual and great.

Thank you so much for beautiful performance. You seem like see something completely different from what we see everyday…
**Does anybody knows what the last song was? It was amazing, and brought me chills and tears.

my experience with Jónsi @ Coachella: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sU5B_lPoWk
I danced. I smiled. I jumped around. I cried. Truly mind-blowing. Touched me to my core. Thank you, Jónsi. I WILL see you again.
