Dear all,
I have ordered for £ 15 last week the DVD/CD physical package from jonsi.com.
It's been 1 week now and still nothing ?
I find this strange as the material was released last week I think.
I live in england so surely it should come soon.
Have you had any problems your end aswell ?
Many thanks,
Love, light and Energy,
Gui

How long do you think it will take to ship to the states? It's getting close to 2 weeks now...
Posted 1 year ago # -
according to jonsi.com its shipping from London. I would say not much longer, of course that also depends on where in the States you are at. For reference, I'm in Texas and am still waiting.
Posted 1 year ago # -
I'm in North Carolina and still waiting too. I'm just getting nervous because I only go to university here and really wanted to give it as an xmas present to my friend but I fly home next week.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Well I had to wait 9 days for my copy to arrive and I live in England .
The CD/DVD set was sent from England so I was very surprised by such a long delay receiving it.
As you all live in the States i couldn't tell you how long it will take for your CD to reach you but I hope you will get it before Christmas.
Take care,
Gui

I bought my copy of Jonsi's Go Live DVD/CD a while back. I got an E-Mail stating the physical goods would be shipped on a future date. Not long after, I received a receipt in which, gave me download links to the Album and DVD as well as it saying my physical copy has been shipped out on the 29th of Nov. It's been 3 weeks to date and I still haven't received my copy in the mail. I live in the U.S. (Texas, Houston Area) and after reading these post's I'm glad I'm not the only one in this situation. However, it shouldn't take a month to receive a DVD/CD. The worst part is, they don't even give you a tracking number to see where it is. It's not like it's being shipped on a boat you know.

^ dude it's Sandbag and yeah it is being shipped on a boat!
It takes sometimes more then a month, just be patient.btw @ everyone still waiting (and hey i'm still w8ing 2)
Welcome. To the Sandbag shipping experience :D

hey erkh, the package left london between 2 weeks and 2,5 weeks ago - most likely 2 weeks ago, there is no tracking on the package as to do so would make the postage costs too expensive (perhaps in future we might have this as an option though). postage is slow this time of year, its almost xmas, its on its way to you. sorry for the delay.
Posted 1 year ago # -
@Erkh Don't worry it'll come this week for sure. I live in Houston and haven't gotten mine either. The mail hasn't come yet for me so we'll see if today is the day!

Im patiently waiting like you guys (newbliss, Erkh) in houston also . i think it should get here this week hopefully

To be honest, if you pre-order something you should be getting it just before it is released. Totally sucks that I could have bought it at the store and not paid $7+ plus for shipping and not have to badger Sandbag.
I also have issues with Sandbag telling me they shipped it on Nov 30th and then say it was Dec 5th. Now I just don't trust them.Posted 1 year ago # -
@ tigers -- I agree, pre-orders should ship before release. Otherwise, what the heck is the point, other to ensure purchase of a copy? I don't even know if any stores here in the States have copies, and it's a mute point to investigate now that I'm (still) waiting for my pre-order to arrive, but waiting for release day and buying from the store sure sounds a lot better than waiting 2 or more weeks with unreliable shipping info with no tracking.
It sucks that they gave you incorrect ship dates. I wouldn't trust them after that, either.

nothing in Denver!

tigers: the delay had nothing to do with sandbag.
also, its a pre-order, not a prerelease, the timeframe in manufacturing these products and getting them out to you is all well planned but it doesnt really allow (except for a few lucky customers in the UK who got theirs on the 27th of november) items to be sent out earlier.
b_coleman: the point is so that you can order it before its released :) not that you get it posted before its released. we sent out download links to digital downloads on the release date. (also this product isnt available in stores for the most countries, so you're amongst the first ones to get it)
sorry bit baffled by this sudden popping up of "we want it before its released" train of thought.... a release date is a release date for a reason.

I liked buying from the preorder, even if we have to wait so long to get it because this way you support the artist directly and have the peace of mind knowing that you actually have a copy. Plus the website admins here are super nice and helpful, and I know if there's an actual problem they will handle it instead of leaving me high and dry. It sucks waiting, but I know it's coming and when it gets here it will be glorious! And getting the download on the release date was really nice :) I guess it feels like I've been waiting for this since I saw my first show in April, so what's another month or so?

Oh come on now, that's clearly not the point. It was released on November 27th, but it's not for sale in stores. So we had to include over $7 American dollars to the price of the CD to purchase the item. It's not like we have a choice in the matter, the only option is the direct order online. So we paid the additional cost on top of the price of the item.
The point, I'm sure you understand, is that today is December 14th and I haven't received it. At that shipping rate for something the size, shape and weight of a DVD, over 10 business days to anywhere in the world is a rather long time.

Settle into the wait, bunchypants... ooo so sweet is the anticipation.
I can practically taste it dripping frum your posts!Posted 1 year ago # -
I agree with Rosega. Patiently awaiting the arrival of the most amazing show to date. My senses are so excited to experience it all over again. Well, at least to some degree :)

I had ordered a few other items the same day I ordered the physical edition, which were supposedly shipped out on the 19th of November. I still have not received those items so if the physical edition was shipped out 10 days later it looks like they won't be making it here in time for Christmas, and I've got to tell my girl she's not getting it, or the other item I ordered her. I am hoping they were all sent out together and will arrive in time because I'd hate to disappoint her.
I know you guys are busy, and it is a busy time of year so please don't take it as a criticism. I just hope everything arrives in time.
I'm in NY, in case people are wondering...

mikel1814: mike i completley understand - i wish it could get to everyone sooner, but that would have made the postage costs higher.
we know from previous mailouts of items that some countries have weird deliveries - some places in australia get it before places in germany or holland and parts of america, despite all being posted out at the same time
