So, is anybody here going to Airwaves this year? The line up has pretty much most of the bands I want to see, and the addition of Yoko Ono and Bjork just make it a little more sweeter methinks...

Tune Yards is good, so far nobody else really interests me enough though ):

I'm really looking forward to Sykur, Sing Fang, Dungen, Swords of Chaos, and Yoda Remote. I'm really hoping Apparat Organ Quartet, and Þórir play.
And I'm looking forward to seeing Retro Stefson play, it will be an added bonus if FM Belfast come back as well.
So far this year I'm going solo, and I am going to leave touring to a minimum, no coastline trip for me. So I plan on hitting a lot of the day shows as well.

I would love to go, but we have the honeymoon this year. Next year, I hope!

If FM Belfast finish the whole thing off again, I plan on being there in proper time. Last year I missed half the gig standing outside in the pouring (and freezing!) rain. :-(

FM Belfast did an amazing job, it was really cool. My Bjork ticket is Sunday night though, so I probably will miss the send off band.

PS. If anyone is interested, I have an extra Bjork ticket for Sunday night. I bought a standing and sitting one, haven't decided which I want, so there is an extra. Less than a week away.
and PPSS, I have completed my playlist over on gogoyoko.com, every band from that site that is at Airwaves is on my playlist http://www.gogoyoko.com/go/ragnaarB

I'll pencil it in. I just now noticed that you are Key Master, is that an intentional Ghost Busters reference?

Don't let anyone say you don't know how to party Oisín.
Hmmm, given to whom I have addressed this, I should be more grammatically correct and grab that comma.
Don't let anyone say you don't know how to party, Oisín.

It was the least I could do, really. I’ve been planning this three-day mini-conference thing for the past two weeks, and what do I do? I leave the country about half an hour after the first of the foreign guests arrives in Copenhagen, thereby missing the entire thing. I might as well take advantage of all this fancy new-fangled technology that lets us live-stream and podcast all our conferences and things.

Well for most the afternoon the conference was probably better than the weather. Call It being up since yesterday morning, or call it listening to a bunch of bands already but it seems a lot later than it really is

I have not been able to goto Reykjavik yet cos of extrawork plan to go tomorrow and saturday to see some off venueshows....
If any at the Airways have not seen the film Backyard try to see it at Bio Paradis.Posted 7 months ago # -
Sin Fang put on a great show tonight. I wish it could have gone longer.

^ Oh, we were there as well!
I’d never heard anything of his (except the first song he played), and it didn’t really do that much for me, to be frank. It was all right, but just that.
I did love the fact that the chorus to one of the songs appeared to include the line “I will be your Michael Bolton”, though.

I really liked the different arrangements of the songs off the album. I didnt understand the need for 3 mikes but I liked it. A friend of mine is playing with his band today at 3 at Kex. The Twilight Sad are their names. In the event you need something to do at 3.
