um, watery wintersun ? because the sun is so low now even on midday, I held the paper in a perpendicular angle to the sunlight outside, not an easy job to hold everything in its place ! when the objects start to shift, the paper is ruined. I used some plastic foil.

I used to have paper like that as a child and loved playing with it. It turned brownish in the sun. I'm still a little experimental photographer in disguise ...
@ Siri: Nice!

So when I saw this at the Nordic house, there was a digital glitch in a few of the scenes, most notably in the upclose piano scene with the hands moving too quickly. I'm very happy to say that watching the blue ray at home on my projector, there are no quirky lines. Very nice indeedy!

was browsing ebay yesterday and couldnt believe somebody was trying to sell inni limited edition for £79.95 buy it now !! when it is still available at sigur ros for £50.00, nobody baught it but this guy has another one (so he obv baught 2 or more) on auction it is at £44.75 now with 2 days left ! what is wrong with these people ?

I just posted my pic for the photo paper via Sigur Ros. Siri, you could say it's somewhat in tribute of the ole Dutch. I had to scan it at pretty low resolution to get it below 2megs, but it turned out alright. They just have to verify it I believe.

Yeah I remember you talking about oma en opa ! How will we know what are yours ?
I had to reduce the pictures I took as well, maybe that is where the yellowish color comes from, the originals have brighter whites, but not as bright as most posted papers are.Posted 5 months ago # -
Look for the windmill and sun

Hi!
Does it work under the light of day outside, but no direct sun?Posted 4 months ago # -
There is not much light during the days at this time in Iceland so I used little studio lights I had...
Posted 4 months ago # -
I assume they are just posting select ones. Either that or I somehow uploaded incorrectly.
Posted 4 months ago # -
^ah that explains why I couldn't find the windmill - try again ? or post it here ?
Posted 4 months ago # -
maybe you are not aloud to post it here or elsewhere and give hint about it..... ??
Try again.Posted 4 months ago # -
Oh wow, so happy to have recieved INNI as an xmas gift - I just watched 3 tracks last night, was totally mesmerised. So, so beautiful. I think I'm falling in love with them all over again.

about the gallery, all uploaded images are reviewed before going public. some of the uploaded images so far have had nothing to do with the light sensitivite paper - so we've not published them.
travelingbuddha: if you're picture hasnt being published, then email it to me and i'll upload.

Funny... those 3 (only one mine) that where at the top yesterday and for the last days have all fallen way down and 6 or 7 scans with simular scan names are now at the top... LOL
I´m going to post new Ljóspappír scan soon.Posted 4 months ago # -
Thanks Darren, I'll send it to you later tonight

I just got my vinyl yesterday, and was happy to read the little notes scratched into the inside of each record. Is one of them a recipe? :)

I just uploaded the rest of my ljóspappír submissions, and I'm really happy with the way they turned out! I ended up wasting 4 sheets of paper on failed attempts, and I saved one sheet to leave inside Inni for posterity's sake. This was really fun, I'm always surprised at how creative I can be when I want to. I'm a scientist with a surprise artist center :) Thanks, whoever thought of this competition!

Using this light sensitive paper can I make photos using pinhole technique?
Posted 4 months ago # -
Has anyone gone back to their original pieces of paper lately? Mine look darker (and way cooler) than my scans :( I wonder if they take time to develop completely?
Posted 3 months ago # -
no, mine look exactly the same but I keep them in the original dark plastic bag in the Inni box ; maybe they will darken when exposed to daylight.
I tried to upload some new pappir, but every time the website directs me to an almost entirely blank page, except for a small Inni heading, and a very faint sentence asking : are you sure you want to upload these ? and no button to click on, nothing happens when I enter or refresh the page. In short I can do nothing and nothing happens. Can we only upload once on the same mailaddress ? I tried another mailaddress but that didn't work either.

If you are in New York, you might have a shot at a signed poster... you lucky dogs. Sent by Ray today;

Meanwhile, in Inni land, several more screenings are coming up (as always).
And for many of them, we're giving away free posters, signed by the band.
Check out Brooklyn (the Spectacle), Buffalo (Squeaky Wheel), and Grand Marais (North House Folk School).
If you're near Brooklyn or Buffalo, enter your name in the little poster giveaway box on the relevant page. Note that the winner needs to be in those areas. For Grand Marais, you must RSVP to the screening, and you must be present at the screening to win. Which, you know, could be a fun trip.
See you out there somewhere.
