Really?? Oh wow... Well, you know what's strange is that I had no idea when he disappeared. Knew no details or anything. Only just now that I'm so interested. But it turns out that yesterday made 17 years exactly, and yesterday was when I heard the song (probably why RAS 2 played it, but I only understand a word here and there of Icelandic so had no idea if they were talking about it pre-song) and started digging into this. Finding so many cool articles and blogs with all sorts of yummy pictures of him. He was a beaut. It's such a shame. Just look at that face - oh my goodness: http://richeyjames.tumblr.com/

yes mebbe but not my cuppa. his voice tho.
you know, I've been wondering, how come so little english(wo)men are on this forum? if dear old ootiepootie ross is the only one left, well... this can't be true.
even on the srmb it's all Scotland ahoy. I miss the charming beauties of Poppy, Libs and Helena (charming voice).Posted 3 months ago # -
Poppy is alive and well on the Twitters and Facebook. I think she's very busy with college... I miss them here, too. =/ Oh, that's James who sings the Manic songs. I've never heard Richey's voice although there are some interviews I need to check out when I have some time... He did write most of the songs. Still is post-mortem, too, in a large way I've been reading. The whole thing is weird, which has me fascinated... Anyway, I should leave off with the Manics as this is the Jonsi forum... Probably getting on people's nerves... =/
