earlier today it was announced that ‘go’ by jónsi was winner of the inaugural nordic music prize for the “best album of 2010″. some comments by the jury included;

“It’s original, unique, it couldn’t have been made anywhere else. It’s art.” – Laurence Bell

“Jónsi really sounds icelandic, Sounds true, inspirational, it has passion. It ticks all the boxes. It’s powerful music!” – Jeannette Lee
