Absolutely breathtaking. The animations, the way the lighting worked with the music – it was spectacular. I would have payed much more to see the performance. It was intimate without being too cramped, and every song was flawless. Thank you Jonsi & co for the most amazing concert of my life.

i was in tears throughout… the most soulful and holy experience of music/creation and art i have ever witnessed, so blessed to have my daughter with, the gift of inspiration and pure love from this band to the world goes beyond words…..

Absolutely amazing. Best concert finale I have ever seen! (I thought GO DO was performed a bit over-loosely but it didn’t really detract much from the song which is so great that even a weak performance of it would be satisfying.) Jonsi deserves major music awards for the CD, individual songs and the Go Do video. The concert itself was breathtaking.

  5. Nathan says:

WOW the show you guys played was beautifully amazing!!! Jonsi and crew you guys are so versatile playing all kinds of instruments. Holy crap the drummer was insane. So much fun to listen to and watch you guys last night. Thank you for the amazing experience.

  7. maria says:

That was probably the most powerfull experience of my short lifetime. It was absolutly amazing! I really liked the new songs and would love the chance to buy them!

  8. Alex says:

This show completely blew me away! I expected seeing Jonsi live to be one of the greatest shows I’ve seen and I was still left without words. The drummer was amazing and the show was terrifyingly beautiful. I won’t forget this show. Takk!

This was breathtakingly beautifully bleakly uplifting in an apocalyptic sort of a way, transporting……….sublime is the word I think. I wish I could go again. Thank you

It was as if we were in a land of dreams, with rain falling gently at first, only to have giant waves wash over us the next, into forests we went, with magical creatures and soft grass underfoot. It was an evening of bliss and joy, raging storms and gentle seas. It was the most amazing concert I have ever been to. Thank you Jonsi and band for one of the most memorable evenings of my life. I found myself letting the music wash over me, a giant smile on my face. Beautiful, joyous and magical. Thank you so much.

Wonderful positive elevation! Stunning, complex, primal, strong and fragile in its beauty and power. Beatific, thoughtful, physical and wise. This is what the human animals should do. We are nature and electricity!

  12. John Quist says:

I have been a Sigur Ros fan for years, and attended their last show at the Orpheum when they came through town a few years ago… so I had an idea of what was to come prior to the show last night. BUT THIS WAS SPELLBINDING!! The intimate electricity in the air during the performance was like nothing I had EVER experienced. My reality had become immersed into a dreamscape of emotions (all positive), the aching beauty spewed onto the crowd and there was absolutely no way to prepare yourself for this kind of euphoric experience. I still believe at this moment (while typing this review) that the kingdom of heaven had come down to earth for an hour-and-a-half and touched every person in that theatre. Tears streamed, lives were saved, and Jonsi was the vessel. The drummer was a technical genious btw, I applaud your dedication to the music. Thank you guys for the gift of your performance because my spirit has never been so at peace. God Bless, and I am (beyond words) gratefully blessed to have attended your show! Come back soon Jonsi, you know i’ll be there :)

No words can describe the concert. It was the single greatest concert i have ever witnessed. It wasnt just an audio experience, but also a visual experience. After the concert i didnt want to do anything except listen to more.

  14. ben says:

Breathtaking. Literally. I caught myself catching my breath at the end of each song. This show was the single most beautiful audio and visual experience I have ever had. Its crazy how the thoughts of one man could be turned into such an unbelievable show. The album is great but to fully appreciate it, one must see this man live. The band worked so well together and the drummer was phenomenal. Every piece of this show fit so well together. And to top it all off, got to meet Jónsi afterwards: really nice guy and very humble when I told him how much I loved the show. Thank you Jónsi, the band, Nico Muhly and 59 productions for putting together something that no audience has ever experienced.

  15. rachael says:

I just want you, Jonsi and the rest of the band, to know that I love you guys. Seriously. I want to be your friend. It was the greatest concert I have ever seen, and I know that any other band cannot match it. The music and visuals are the epitome of good art, and I think you guys have accomplished what good art is striving for- transcending the every day experience and channeling life’s grand emotions through senses.

  16. Tom says:

It was the best show I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Indescribable. Description fails in the face of what I witnessed, heard, felt and came away with. Knowing now what it contained I wouldn’t know how to approach it again, how to take it in and process it all. It was like facing death…or being conscious at birth…or both. Terror, sadness, joy, bliss, transcendence, but most of all a profound empathy with what was on stage and with the people around me.

An immolation released a thousand butterflies
a deer transformed itself into an eagle to escape the jaws of a wolf
a thousand falling leaves became a million falling raindrops
a million raindrops became a billion snowflakes
a supple breeze became a gale
an army of ants carried away all of the refuse of mankind
and an alien owl bore witness to it all

He closed with a song called ‘Tornado’ and it was exactly that.

    Musicianship 10/10
    Visuals 10/10
    Sound 10/10
    Flow & Pacing 10/10

Sorry I know this review is long over due, but it feels like the concert was just yesterday. It was absolutely AMAZING!!! It tops all the concerts i’ve been to for sure. You guys have mad skills to put a show together that is both brillant and beautiful. Jonsi’s Voice was spectacular and flawless.
You put together a intricate show and pulled it off with flying colors. Also I was like to acknowledge the drummer for the passion he put into his perfomance cause literally he was all over and never missed a beat. Though I wish this could had been an auditorium So I could have danced. However, the acoustics in the Pantages theater were good so I can’t complain.

  18. Pat says:

ok sorry, but to contribute to what I said before I am glad my sister introduced me to Sigur Ros. If not for her i would be deprived of music that is so moving and beautiful. This experience has only made me want to learn more about you. It has also inspired me to start drawing again that I to can do anything.
It is now my soundtrack to get through the rest of the school year. I often day dream about it when my professor is lecturing. It’s just so uplifting I can’t resist. This concert Experience has left me to wonder what you’ll do next. Whatever it is I’m sure it will be brillant.

Thanks Jonsi for sharing with us your amazing talent and I hope to see you on tour again sometime soon!!!!!!!!

  19. Shaun Johnson says:

I guess I don’t know what happened that night. As testified by everyone else here, we experienced something bigger than ourselves. It blew my mind sideways. In fact, I’ve been calling and emailing everyone I know to let them know about the spiritual experience I bathed in at Pantages. I can definitely say without question, that this is the best show I have ever seen since seeing Dave Matthews jam with Blues Traveler. Thanks, Jonsi!

  20. shaun johnson says:

Thanks Joe for making fun of me for talking non stop about this show for the past couple days by posting the above review. Nice touch with the “Dave Matthews and Blues Traveler” remarks. (laughing) You got me.

But it was the best show I’ve ever been to, and I will continue to rave about it to the dismay of my friends who weren’t there.

  21. David says:

After Sigur Ros, Riceboy Sleeps, and now Jonsi being my all time favorite “bands”, and hearing the masterpiece called “Go”, I knew that this concert was going to be memorable. I tour in a band 250 days a year globally, work for a record label and a talent booking agency – so I’ve seen thousands of shows/concerts/events and this was by FAR the best of all of them in every aspect!!! Musical talent, production, artistic ability of ALL musicians, setlist, everything top notch!! I love that he has a 10 track CD but that the setlist was around 16 songs!! I couldn’t get over how intricate all of the visual graphics were layed out and synced perfectly to all the songs!
Considering flying to Europe to catch this tour again in August!

  22. Ray says:

In a word – unbelievable. I’ve been a huge fan of Sigur Ros for years now, and to have had the opportunity to see Jonsi in the flesh, doing what he simply excels at, was well worth the 8+ hours of driving down from Winnipeg. (That’s in Canada, Jonsi, should you decide to add a Canadian Tour). The show exceeded even my highest expectations, to the point where the only one word that could escape my lips summed it all up and then some. Unbelievable.

  23. Mae Arum says:

    Two words:
    Oh. My.
