Just got home, and still taking it in. One of those rare moments of transcendance in life. Both celebratory, and melancholic.

    Thank you!

  2. G says:

    Fantastic! Thank you for yesterday.

  3. John B says:

A wonderful event. Combining music and images in the most captivating way.

  4. Agnes and Alysia says:

Alysia- Wow, that was so amazing! Alex! Jonsi! So sweet, the nicest, sweetest gig ever! Loved the set and the outfits, the head dress! Thank you so much! It was incredible! Thanks to everyone involved!

Agnes – That was… amazing. Everything was so brilliant, so beautiful. I loved the set, and the costumes [especially Jonsi’s] and the music was incredible. Thankyou so much!

  5. Matt says:

    5 star performance.
Still mesmerised by the whole show – the visuals were incredible, such effort and care must have gone in to them, although they never detracted from the music.
I’m trying to get all of my friends/family to experience this, either tonight or in November.
Last night really did feel like one of those special gigs where you become encompassed in the music and concept completely.
Went with my brother who had not heard any of Jonsi’s music (other than Sigur Ros), he too was astounded.

  6. trev says:

Last night we were taken a return journey to out of this world, thanks for the ride guys.

  7. Stuart Edwards says:

I can’t quite believe what I saw last night, I had high expectations after Sigur Ros blowing me away in 2008 but I never expected a solo show of completely new material to even come close to realistically levelling that. I was wrong. Utterly, unfathomable brilliance. I’ve never seen a musician give it as much energy as Jonsi did during the closing minutes of Grow Till Tall.

    See you in Leeds.

  8. Stuart Edwards says:

Also, kudos to the drummer who played his heart out and seemed to love every single second of it. We need more musicians like him, too.

  9. Claire says:

Most beautiful performance I have ever seen. Totally magical experience, I even dreamt about it lastnight. Breathtaking.

  10. Benedict says:

Incredible. The single most enjoyable, affirming and honest piece of music/theatre/spectacle I have and will ever see, that is, until November at the Hammersmith Apollo. A ray of hope to keep me sane over the coming months

  11. Beth says:

Absolutely surperb. It’s kinda impossible to put the epicness into words… you have to see it for yourself. Put it this way – BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE :] Thank you everyone, thank you so much.

  12. Ceri says:

it is impossible to put how beautiful it was into words.

  13. agusmakkie says:

Great sounds and visuals, great job to the tour team, good on you Jonsi

  14. Lawrence says:

Seriously Still in a state of complete awe of how last nights Concert went it was Just Incredible! Just Incredible!
I have never seen or experienced something so amazing as I did last night I will never forget that experience my eyes and ears were exposed to something that was just so thought provoking, so intense and Just beautiful ! Thank You for that! I am going to come and see you again

  15. Paul says:

It bettered my high expectations. My mind is constantly replaying the visual and aural treat, especially ‘Grow Til Tall’. Staggering beauty that makes little happy tears, hairs dance and lumpy throats. Thank you for sharing your talent.

  16. Steve Winslade says:

What an amazing concert! The songs were amazing, the visuals blew my mind and atmosphere was brilliant! I’ve been looking forward to this concert since it was first announced and I was not let down!
Can’t wait to see Jonsi again in November!

  17. Ronnie Balsara says:

I remember just sitting in absolute disbelief after ‘grow till tall’ was performed. I had my hair standing on end, tears rolling down my cheeks, and a massive smile on my face. It was a grand finale which summarised the brilliance of the entire show with great panache. The entire production was exultant, melancholic, but yet life affirming. It was one of those experiences that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you Jonsi for giving me the opportunity to experience such magic in my otherwise routine life. EPIC.

  18. Gabby says:

Left floating….again. Booking for November already. It is an experience no one should miss.

  19. Robot says:

Please tell us that there is a live DVD or CD planned? The non-album tracks were far too amazing to not be released. A truly incredible experience.

  20. psneauie says:

I dragged my hubby along to London from Somerset and he, like me, was totally blown away.
    It was truly stunning. Wonderful.
And he wants you to release a live DVD, please.
He is now a Jonsi convert after weeks of, ‘who are we going to see?’.
Hope to see you again in the Autumn.

  21. Edster says:

Absolutely fantastic gig. Jonsi played his Icelandic wool socks off, which isn’t unusual. What was unusual though, and made it unforgettable, was the sheer quality of the visuals. I think the image of the deer being chased through woodland has been indelibly printed on my brain forever!
Even better though (if thats possible) was getting to meet Jonsi after the show. If only I hadn’t forgotten to ask him about his new range of chocolate!

  22. David says:

Great – the last song was simply amazing, like being in the middle of a tornado….

  23. Keith says:

Breathtaking | Emotional Rollercoaster | Amazing

  24. james and karen says:

It’s a rather belated statement I’m writing here, but I just wanted to say, Karen and i, were just saying how amazing the gig was, and this is 2 months later!! Roll on november!!!

  25. Steve says:

My wife and I flew from Australia and had no sleep in over 30 hours. We went pretty well straight to the concert and had the best time of our lives. Great venue and Jonsi was superb. After 3 months I still reminisce and currently sitting in front of the tv watching Go Quiet. One of the few best experiences of my life (alongside going to Iceland from the UK). Thanks Jonsiu & crew
