What can I say… first live Jónsi experience was yesterday on the 2nd. And it was not enough! So I booked tickets for tonight as well! And made sure we were in front of the stage. And again it was beyond words. So much good energy going around. You guys gave me the best musical experience ever!

Ma petite J’oh, comme souvent, le destin nous a aidé à vivre une nouvelle expérience inoubliable. Tu m’as emmené voir le chanteur de notre “Viorar…”. Merci. Je t’aime. En það besta sem guð hefur skapað, Er nýr dagur. Ton F.

a friend of mine told me about this singer whom i never heard of. did him a favour by buying tickets for jonsi in paradiso. what to expect: not a clue.
what we got was something out of the ordinary. great, multi talented musicians, a singer with a beautiful voice!!! an atmosphere that was out of this world and music that was to good to be true. we enjoyed every second of it.

    i am very, very impressed.

looking forward to the next concert. untill then: the album will do

Having literally only discovered Sigur Ros weeks earlier, learning of their hiatus soon after, I was over the moon to hear that the “voice” of Sigur Ros would be blessing Amsterdam with his presence!

I struggle to put into words how & what Jonsi’s concert did to me, & to sufficiently do his show & performance justice. It was, without question, the most incredible concert I’ve ever experienced.

Simply put, this show treats all the senses & leaves you speechless. Simply amazing!

Long story short, I am well & truly converted, & quite literally can hardly listen to any music that isn’t his, Sigur Ros or from the Riceboy Sleeps project.

I am fortunate enough to have tickets to see him again when he returns to the Netherlands in Groningen November 23rd, and have delayed my return from the US by 2 days to see him in Washington DC November 8th also….PLUS to top it all, have tickets for his final homecoming concert in Reykjavik December 29th, & to make the tickets even more special, an Icelandic friend who collected them from the bookstore in Reykjavik bumped into Jonsi who was leaving a cafe across the street & had them signed! ;-)

Needless to say, I can’t wait for the next concert(s)!
