    The most amazing concert !!!

    Jonsi!

You are amazing! The concert was pretty conceptual and perhaps nowadays you are one of the few guy with a new proposal. Next time you should tour in Mexico! You have a lot fans there!

Amazing that the Houston crowd was so small while most other U.S. venues sold out – where are the fans? I met one gentleman who had traveled here from Iowa and plans to soon see in Columbus (a true fan).

The show was VERY good – certainly in the top 10 of the many hundreds of live shows I’ve seen over the years. The vocals were superb and the band fully engaged. The computer graphics were wonderful and have gotten raves even in the NY Times. Next time Jonsi is in town – see him….

This is a concert that will remain unmatched until the next time Jonsi/Sigur Ros comes to town……absolutely amazing, unlike anything anyone will see from anyone else…..Bravo Jonsi….

Thank you Jonsi & band for being able to come to our little city. I know Houston doesn’t usually draw big crowds for good music, and that is sad, but there are many of us here who really appreciate it.

It was a beautiful night, magical visuals (I was on the left side next to the little minature projection, I loved watching them both) and great music. I LOVED Tornado, and of course Grow Till Tall… yeah, that was totally unexpected and I was blown away.

Lots of love for my first Jonsi experience. Hopefully another time again or perhaps even with Sigur Ros! :)

The show once a once in a lifetime experience – the most creative and inspiring music and performance I’ve seen yet. I really enjoyed it and would go again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful show.

Thanks again for coming to see us in Houston. Getting to see you live was the absolute best thing I’ve ever experienced and most definitely is a once in a lifetime experience.

I remember at one point making eye contact with you as you were playing on the piano making us both smile (I was in the the second row along the middle, slightly to the left). Every song you played was filled the air with magic. Everyone, including myself was amazed with the animations, visuals and choreography of your music. The transitions from one song to another was perfect and seeing you in the headdress made the concert experience even better. I absolutely loved your song Grow Till Tall, I was completely blown away. The way you played it made everything feel surreal and made me feel like I was in the video.

I hope to see you again playing in Houston sometime in the future. I really enjoyed seeing you perform and would go again if I had the chance. Thank you so much for the amazing show.

  8. Andrea says:

Jonsi’s music makes me feel alive for the first time again after many, many years. His music isn’t just entertainment; it is music that speaks to my soul in a way which few other artists are able to achieve. Combined with the stunning visual effects, the show is truly magical.

I cannot express my gratitude for being able to attend such a show. And like many others, I was disappointed in the small turn-out, but it didn’t take a thing away from me. The entire experience was better than I could have ever imagined. I only attend concerts which I feel will truly be worth while, and with this being only my second, I know the experience will stick with me for life.

Thank you for such a soul-touching experience, Jonsi!

This show was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Kolniður and Grow Til Tall were the most amazing performances I have ever seen live, and the single, lingering bass note at the end of the latter was…well, ethereal at the very least. As was the minute or so of the drummer pounding on the bass drum about once every other second. Those were two of the most powerful moments I’ve yet seen.

I would give just about anything to go back and see that concert again.

  10. Kristie says:

THE best show I saw last year. It was amazing and the experience blew me away more than I could have imagined. I was in pure bliss. Thank you SOOOOOO much for coming to Houston. I hope that you will come around again.

  11. Mariela says:

    Greatest audio/visual show ever!
Went last year will do so again this year and the year after and the year after that one!
Great stuff! Houston loves you Jonsi!

Awesome mix of music and video! This was a show to remember and I’m glad at least a few of my friends got to see it with me. Boo Houston for not showing up in mass for this! Tickets were a bit pricey, but worth it!!
