One word: Incredible. My feeling is beyond my language capacity.
I stood at the front raw, and all I feel is speechless and breathless until I opened my eyes, only to find Jonsi is gone.
Listened to Sigur Ros and Jonsi for five years in China, and eventually saw him in New Orleans.
It totally makes my Voodoo festival and possibly the entire year!

Such a beautiful show, didn’t expect anything less. So glad I got to see Alex again. I’ve missed Parachutes.

    First timer listener……….

Got to spend this past weekend at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans, La with my two daughters and a future son-in-law, Charlie(24), Sarah(22) and Chris.

Imagine laying in the grass, 70 degrees at dusk, a little wind across your nose, and listening to this guy with your eyes closed…………….damn, what a 30 minutes to remember

have already ordered a couple of CD’s

I sat on the rafter looking down at what I found to be one of the most magnetic, gorgeous, amazingly talented inspiring people. I was in awe…. I was in love with life. The music touched my soul, the performance touched my soul and the experience was one that will last a lifetime. Thank you for making my Voodoo Experience a thoughtful and awe inspired one. You are a true enigmatic angelic talent!

Alright, fellow Voodoo attendee here. Been going for the past 5 years…And the only reason I got to see Jonsi is because fans were complaining that Muse and Jonsi were scheduled for the exact same slot time…I thought to myself, Jonsi must be something worth seeing if everyone is complaining about the scheduling.

Voodoo fixed the scheduling, and I got to see Jonsi. I feel lucky to have seen him considering I live in alabama and nowhere near his tour dates. I was so glad to have seen him, I was really in awe the whole time…Ive heard his shows at night are better, but Jonsi does not disappoint in the least. I will be getting some Jonsi albums!

  6. Christine says:

I echo the comments from the others above. Jonsi’s performance brought out so much emotion in me. That wasn’t something I was used to.

Does anyone have the set list from this performance (or know where to find it, if those are posted somewhere else)?
