Loved it! Graphics was amazing…drummer…amazing…Jonsi as always amazing…
Wondering if someone played the iPad during the concert? What was the bassist playing midway through…some computer of some sort?

Loved it. As the above said the set up was a amazing, just as moving as the words and beat to every song! Would go again and again

That was one of the most beautiful things I have seen and heard! I knew it was going to be awesome with the projections, but I could never have imagined the level of integration with the music to create such a rich and complete sensory experience. I just loved everything about it! …including the outfits of the band member. Nice work!

One word: incendiary! The Pabst was the perfect location, acoustics were pure perfection. This show was so phenomenal that I am headed to Chicago’s Vic theater this Wed to see them there to.

  6. Bill says:

One of the best shows I’ve seen. The force of the effects during the band’s final song, Grow Till Tall, was mind blowing.

One of the most incredible shows I have ever been too in my life. The passion they put into every aspect of the show was amazing. They sounded fantastic and the screens were perfect. Just a flawless beautiful show… I have to admit I teared up a few times… overwhelming emotions. I brought my 8 year old and I am so glad that I was able to share that with him, it is an experience he will never forget and neither will I. Thank you so much for performing for us!!! ♥

Probably the BEST live musical act I have ever seen in my life (I have seen many). In one word: stunning. Everything about this show was superior. At times I was lost in what appeared to be a dream. I am at a loss for words due to the fact that I am still trying to digest it all. If you have a chance to see this: GO!!! PLEASE do yourself some good and see this!!! I wish I could again and again.

This was the best show I have ever seen! Everything was absolutely perfect! It was such an intimate feel in the theatre, and the projections really added to the show. It is safe to say that Jonsi is a genius…

What a show! I left the theatre with such a feeling of joy, I could hardly contain it. Definitly the best live show I have ever seen. And the drummer! Oh wow. I was thoroughly impressed by him. Well, really, everyone in the band was amazing.
And the production, that was MIND BLOWING. Absolutly gorgeous.

Jonsi is a remarkable human being with a unique talent. He certainly proved himself and his band as some of the best performers to take the stage. Well done.

On Monday night I had the pleasure of attending Jónsi’s concert in Milwaukee. The concert was an overwhelming emotional experience for me that at times brought me to tears. Why was I reduced to tears… Not only during points in the concert but the next time I heard Go (on the way home the next day)!?!?

I am a mother of three beautiful young boys. As a mother and wife I struggle and worry daily about what is best for my family- what we eat, how we interact with those in our neighborhood and those around this planet. As a human I struggle with my place in the world- how to positively impact the earth and make others become more aware of their impact.

The music, stage images, artist and audience became interwoven. The messages of lyrics did not need to be translated. We all struggle like the wolf, deer and owl. Destruction comes to our doorstep and sometimes we have no choice but run and hope the tornado passes. Sometimes WE are the tornado- words and action destroying from the inside.

No flashy slogans, no speeches, no mantra. Just a complete and whole experience like a mirror in front of our face.

And when I worry about my children’s ability to find success and happiness, I will reflect on this experience. Talent and art may not always be well accepted.. But if it can touch a person like Jonsi’s tour has done for me then I would consider that success. With this art experience Jónsi has overcome language, social stigma and rules of presentation.

    Thank you so much,

  20. Release all those new songs as an EP, pronto! “Grow Till Tall” was mind-blowing. Here’s my photos and facebookers please hit me up for friendship!

I’ll echo what everyone else said – the concert was incredible! Arguably the best concert I’ve ever seen and it would only be second compared to seeing Sigur Ros at the Riverside a few years back. I pray Jonsi releases a DVD of this tour – this must be preserved and experienced if you couldn’t see him live. If he’s coming to town near you try to check it out – you WON’T be disappointed!! This was the perfect venue for him as well – a very intimate concert hall. The stage itself was pretty slick. His bandmates did a tremendous job – the drummer was just incredible, but that’s not to diminish the other members of the band. They even sang Happy Birthday in Icelandic (with a little help in English from the audience) to one of the bandmates! And then to top it all off was the EPIC 8+ minute closer Grow Till Tall. It’s my personal favorite song on the album and there was just soo much passion and intensity in Jonsi’s singing. I was seeing a master artist at work. It was incredibly moving and a perfect end for the night. I wouldn’t trade this concert for anything. This is what music should be. Thank you Jonsi and company.

It has been months since this show and I think about it almost every day. I’ve seen Jonsi with Sigur Ros several times and he is just as good by himself. The background anamation was amazing, I sat on the edge of my seat the entire show and I’m pretty sure my jaw was on the floor for most of it.
Thank you SO much Jonsi for all your hard work and effort, this was unforgettable.
